"We are a faith-based church that believes in Jesus Christ; that He died for us, was buried for us, and rose again for our sins. It was through what He did on the cross that we have received eternal life. We also believe that through His blood, the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit, we have become a part of the family of the living God. And, as others receive Christ, we want to make sure that believers feel as though they are also part of that family and ours. It is our mission to preach the Gospel wherever we go, and to make disciples and baptize them in the name of Jesus Christ. We are called to love people, love God, and reach our world with the love of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father."
In 1996, Cody and Renée Haynes started evangelizing with a faith-based ministry through a Baptist church to people at rodeos, within Renée's western store, and on movie sets. Faith Christian Church was founded in 2001, although the initial services were held in a small park near a soccer field. To this day, Pastor Cody and Renée believe that water baptism and the Lord's Supper are to be observed until His second coming, and that Jesus baptizes with the Holy Spirit and Fire. The Haynes want believers to receive everything the Lord wants to give them, use the authority given unto them by God, and fulfill their purpose and destiny.
